For being satisfied for a long time with your Stadler-Shoes we have some care tips:

Good footwear deserves good care. The right care prolongs the life of your shoes for a long time.
Genuine leather is a „living“ material and is subject to a certain aging process. To beware the skin
of drying out and become brittle you have to feed the leather regular with nutriments.

After cleaning the shoes with a brush – for difficult dirt use a little warm water or leather cleaner –
let the shoes dry slowly.

Attention:
Never leave footwear to dry next to a heat source or the direct sun. Wet leather “burns” very easily
(becomes brittle, hard and shrinks).
Depending on the type of leather there are different methods of care:

Full Grain Leather:
Tread the footwear with shoe care cream based on silicone or wax and polish with a soft cloth.
Using a warm air blower to warm the leather carefully the shoe care cream can soak in deeper.
Too much cream closes the pores and reduces the breath ability! Finally protect the leather from
wetness and pollution by using an impregnating spray.

Warning:
Use no oily or greasy products – the leathers will be destroyed (getting weak, spongy and loose
their breath ability!

Nubuk- and Suede Leather:
Special sprays feed the leather with the necessary care. Impregnation seals the surface and
protects from wetness and pollution.
Using a special crepe rubber brush gives the leather its special velvet character.
It is also possible to use shoe care cream but in this case the leather changes its look becomes greasy.

Chamois Leather:
The special tanning gives a certain look and properties to this leather. In wearing Chamois leather become coated with patina.
Heavy dust has to be removed with leather eraser very carefully.
To improve dirty-repellent we recommend a regular impregnation.

General Care Information:
Put the insoles out of the shoes for better air
Store your shoes with a wooden shoe tree in a airy place
Treat the leather lining time by time with moisturizing cream – the aggressive foot-sweat dries out
the lining and makes it hard and brittle.

Real leather can absorb a high volume of moisture. Ensure that the footwear is always allowed to dry thoroughly otherwise unpleasant odours will develop.

Avoid contact with petrol, acids or manure – these liquids are extremely aggressive and corrode the soles
and adhesive and can destroy your Stadler-Shoes.

The impregnation only achieves its full effect after 24 hours!
